About us
Hello, my name is Sarah, I live on the south coast of England with my husband and our three children.
I have always had a passion for houseplants, but when the pandemic hit in 2020, I found myself with more free time,& I decided I’d like to teach myself to make a few macrame plant hangers.
I discovered that I had a talent for making them, and my initial plan to make just a few hangers for myself, quickly went by the way, as I couldn’t stop knotting, and people started showing an interest in buying them from me, so that’s how Macra-Made With Love was made!
I am particularly fond of making useful things, not just decorative items, and I love it when customers come to me with ideas for new items I hadn’t thought of, and I can help them turn their ideas in to a reality.
I am conscious of being as eco friendly and sustainable in my home life as possible, & this crosses over in to the business as well.
I make an effort to use as much recycled materials as I possibly can, and my packaging is always reused/recycled & saved from landfill.
