Important Update: Changes to EU and Northern Ireland Sales

It is with a heavy heart that I announce Macra-Made With Love will no longer be selling to customers in the EU or Northern Ireland (effective from 13.12.2024) due to changes in the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR).

What's Changed?

The updated regulations require small businesses like mine to appoint an EU based "Responsible Person" to oversee product safety compliance. While I fully support the importance of maintaining high safety standards, the additional costs and administrative requirements to comply with this Law are not financially viable for my business at this time. 

Why I Made This Decision

As a small, handmade business, every sale matters. However the cost of appointing an EU Responsible Person far outweighs the number of sales I currently make to the EU and Northern Ireland. This makes it impossible for me to justify continuing to trade under the new rules. 

What's Next?

I deeply regret having to make this decision, especially knowing how many wonderful customers from the EU I've had the privilege of serving over the years. I am truly grateful for your support and enthusiasm for my handmade creations. 

I hope to revisit the decision in the future as the regulations settle and evolve. Should the situation become more manageable for small businesses like ,one, I would love to explore EU and NI sales once again.
